Hello, thanks for visiting my blog.
My name is Terri, I am a dedicated Mother of two, Grandmother of four and carer of countless orphaned native Australian animals. I am dedicating my life to the rescue and care of Australian marsupials, and sometimes birds and reptiles too! Many of which can not fend for themselves after their mother has been injured or killed due to roadkill. With much blood, sweat and tears, I rescue and raise these orphaned babies, which would otherwise be left to die. I do so by the support of my friends and family, and the generosity of good samaritans.
I am not a good photographer (and would love to have the time to be able to be a great photographer) and many photos are taken with my DSLR (bit heavy) single handed & guessing the outcome. Hehehehehe
Feel free to contact me with questions, ideas, and offers to help.
Peace and Happiness,
Terri
Hi Terri, some of my family are currently looking after two young joeys, and they expressed some interest to me about the possibility of purchasing some of the items on your site. I was wondering if that was any sort of a possibility?
Hello Jesse
I will help you as much as possible. Where do you live? How old are the joeys (how much do they each weigh) what species are they? All marsupial infants are called joeys …….. wombats, gliders, possums, numbats, bilbies, bandicoots, ect.
Terri
Hi Terri.
Tried emailing you but it bounced back…new address??
Hi Terri, A 160gr male joey wallaby has come into care this a.m. Is there anyone in your group willing to care for him? I am unable to due to ill health.
Thanks Bev.
I sent you an email a short while ago. I am sorry I can’t help you. Good luck finding a home for him.
I would like to be able to ring you about a couple of you pics I am interested in.
I am not good on the Net, but would love to talk to you.
Hi Terri! I’ve rescued a Dama Joey just yesterday. I live in a very remote area and am unable to access any wildlife rescue help anytime soon. She seems energetic and calm for the most part. She is full fur, active and inquisitive and will happily take small bits of food from me (mainly bits of silverbeet, banana) and is drinking water from a pippet. I’ve kept her tucked up in a makeshift pouch and warm, away from too much noise and disturbances. I will be able to make a trip into town in the next couple days but am wondering if you have any suggestions around fashioning something for her to suckle from and whether you know of any alternatives to formula that I may make for her until I can get into town? Feel free to email me, your work and efforts are such an inspiration.
